Two different pads options
FlexPads come in two versions; yellow pads which are softer and offer excellent cushioning properties, and red pads which are firmer and act more as protection from sharp stones, whilst still cushioning the feet too.
Practical benefits of pads
Both pads are made of EVA foam, a material that moulds to the boot insole and the horse’s sole, creating almost like a seal between the two. This helps the boots stay on better, and provide cushioning to the parts of the hoof that need it. Pads can also be used to improve the boot fit, especially if the boots are slight too lose or there is space at the sides of the boot.
